DMARC Right’s new feature allows MSPs to seamlessly manage multiple client domains from a single console. With this new ability to handle all DMARC policies, aggregate reports, and forensic reports under one umbrella, MSPs can efficiently manage the email authentication process on behalf of their clients. Additionally, it provides a panoramic view of all domain statistics, thus enhancing decision-making capabilities with regards to domain security.

This enhancement not only optimizes the workflow but also adds a new layer of convenience, allowing MSPs to switch between clients’ data with just a click, thereby saving time and resources. Here are a few highlights of this new feature:

  • Simplified Management: Manage multiple client domains from a single console, offering you a streamlined and unified approach.
  • Enhanced Visibility: Get a consolidated view of all domains, helping you make informed decisions faster.
  • Efficient Workflow: Switch between client data seamlessly, thereby optimizing the workflow and saving significant time.
  • Improved Service: Provide superior service to your clients with a more streamlined, efficient, and robust DMARC management process.

Getting started is simple – you will find the new feature directly on your DMARC Right console. For a step-by-step walkthrough on how to use this new feature, please refer to our latest tutorial in the “Help” section of the console or reach out to our customer support team for personalized assistance.

This update is a testament to our dedication to listening, evolving, and adapting to the changing needs of our valued customers and we hope you will find it as exciting as we do. We truly believe that this will significantly enhance your ability to manage your client’s DMARC policies and reports more efficiently.

MTA-STS TLS Reporting and Dark Mode now available on DMARC Right

It’s with great excitement that we announce the latest additions to DMARC Right’s suite of features, designed to make your email security more robust and user experience more enjoyable than ever. We’ve heard your feedback and understood the importance of detailed analytics and reporting in today’s security environment.

That’s why we have introduced MTA-STS (Mail Transfer Agent-Strict Transport Security) TLS reporting. This enhancement will allow you to get detailed reports on the success and failure of SMTP sessions over secured transport, supporting you to enforce Transport Layer Security (TLS) for your outbound emails. This new functionality bolsters your email security by reducing the risk of man-in-the-middle attacks and ensuring your communications reach their intended destinations securely.

We also understand that many of our customers prefer a darker color scheme, especially when working in low light conditions or at night. To cater to this preference, we’re thrilled to introduce Dark Mode to the DMARC Right interface.

Dark Mode offers a visually soothing alternative to the traditional light-themed interface, reducing eye strain and optimizing readability across all environmental settings. It’s not just about aesthetics, though – this feature also helps in conserving battery power on OLED screens. To activate Dark Mode, simply head to the top right corner in your account, and toggle the button, and switch to Dark Mode.

At DMARC Right, we’re committed to continually evolving our services to meet and exceed your needs. These updates are just part of our ongoing mission to deliver the most effective and user-friendly email security solutions available.

We encourage you to explore these new features and see the difference they can make in your email security management and user experience. As always, our support team is available to assist you with any questions or concerns you may have.

SPF, DKIM and DMARC: The main pillars of email authentication

Email Authentication is crucial for safeguarding your email account from various online threats, including email frauds and phishing scams. In this blog post, we will dive deep into the popular email authentication techniques SPF, DKIM and DMARC and how they can contribute to strengthening email security and deliverability.

As the name suggests, Email Authentication is a set of protocols and methods that aim to verify the identity of the email sender and increase the email deliverability rate while maintaining the email reputation. SPF and DKIM are two of the most widely used email authentication methods in this context.

What is SPF?

Sender Policy Framework (SPF) is an email authentication technique that verifies the IP address of the email sender to determine its authenticity. With SPF, a domain owner can specify which servers are allowed to send the emails on its behalf, which prevents fraudsters from spoofing the email.

Some benefits of SPF include reducing the chances of email spoofing and phishing, thereby strengthening the email reputation. Steps for SPF setup and configuration include adding an SPF record to the DNS and testing it using SPF tools like SPF record checker or SPF sender ID Framework.

What is DKIM?

DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM) is another email authentication technique that adds a digital signature to the email header using a private key. This digital signature can then be verified using a corresponding public key, which ensures the email’s genuineness and integrity.

Perquisites of DKIM include improving email deliverability rates and reducing the chances of email forgery. Steps for DKIM setup and configuration include generating a DKIM key pair, publishing the public key on the DNS, and testing the DKIM signature.

What is DMARC?

Domain based Message Authentication, Reporting, and Conformance (DMARC) is an email authentication protocol that combines SPF and DKIM techniques to provide a stronger validation mechanism. DMARC is effective in controlling email spoofing and phishing, and it also allows for better reporting and monitoring of email activity.

Advantages of DMARC include promoting email deliverability, enhancing email reputation, and preventing email abuse. DMARC setup and configuration involves adding a DMARC policy to the DNS and monitoring email activity using DMARC reporting tools.

Other email authentication standards and protocols

In addition to SPF and DKIM, other email authentication methods like S/MIME and ARC contribute to strengthening email security. The use of these email authentication standards and protocols plays a vital role in maintaining email security and credibility.

Building a robust email security

Email Authentication, including SPF, DKIM and DMARC, of course, is essential for maintaining email security and reputation. You can utilize these email authentication techniques for verifying the authenticity of the email sender and improving the email deliverability rate.

Implementing email authentication techniques and following email security best practices, will help you build a robust email security. Make sure to regularly monitor and test your email authentication settings using email authentication tools, for staying safe and secure in the virtual world!
